Cartridge film
A variety of photographic film that is stored in a cassette made of plastic. Film can be loaded into a camera even while it's bright outside because it doesn't let any light in. In 1963, Kodak was the first company to market 126 cartridge film, then in 1972, they released 110 film. Both Disc film and APS film, which were both later formats, utilized cartridges that were uniquely built for them.
