Julie Hrudová is a street and documentary photographer. She was born in Prague in 1988 and lives and works in Amsterdam.
She has a BA in Media and Culture from Amsterdam and an MA in Film and Photographic Studies from Leiden. She has worked on the RTL News photo desk for over ten years as an editor and researcher.
She founded the StreetRepeat Instagram account.
Her weekly photographs of Amsterdam for the newspaper Het Parool became the book Chasing Amsterdam (2022). The newspaper de Volkskrant named it one of the best Dutch photo books of 2022.
Her zine Herons was published by Bump Books in 2020. In 2017 she won the EyeEm Award in the Street Photographer category.
