Marta Bevacqua is an Italian photographer and director based in Paris. At sixteen she began photographing the women around her. This grew into a career in fashion photography. Her clients include Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, Glamour and Dior.
Her book Signs_ (Setanta Books, 2025) is a long project about Svalbard. It began with a childhood dream. She travelled there five times in winter between 2016 and 2024. The book mixes landscape photography with symbolic elements. A red sweater marks human presence. She also made experiments with instant film in extreme cold, using cameras and film from Lomography.
