Patrick Lefèvre is a photographer. His book Vetur: Frozen Landscapes of Iceland (Kehrer Verlag, 2025, 120 pages, 74 colour illustrations) comes from his first trip to Iceland, in February 2024. He photographed snow-covered, almost desert-like landscapes where roads are the only lifeline. The images follow the style of Pictorialism, closer to paintings than to travel photography.
Lefèvre works more by intuition than by plan, and often pushes the camera beyond its usual limits.
