Tethering

Connecting a camera to a computer or tablet, by cable or wirelessly, so that each photograph appears on the larger screen right after it is taken.

Tethering is common in studio, product and fashion work. The photographer, client and stylist can check focus, lighting and details at once. Software such as Lightroom or Capture One can also control the camera.
