Five Continents Editions, written 5 Continents Editions on its site, is an independent publisher of art books based in Milan, Italy. Eric Ghysels created it in February 2002. Many of its books deal with the traditional arts of Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania. Its list also covers archaeology and ancient, modern and contemporary art, as well as decorative arts, fashion, design and photography. A small multilingual team works with authors, artists, foundations and museums around the world. Books appear mainly in French and English, and also in Italian, Spanish and other languages. Specialist distributors carry them internationally.
