Hannibal Books is an art book publisher based in Antwerp, Belgium. It was founded in 2011. At first it worked under two names: Kannibaal Publishing for lifestyle and sports, and Hannibal Publishing for art and culture. Today it makes art books for museums such as the KMSKA in Antwerp, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, and for a select group of contemporary artists and photographers. Its titles include monographs, exhibition catalogues and photobooks. Gautier Platteau is the publisher and managing director. Distribution partners handle sales worldwide. The elephant in its logo refers to the general Hannibal.
