IIKKI

IIKKI is a French publishing project founded in 2016. It is built around a dialogue between a visual artist and a music artist, bringing photography and sound together in a carefully designed physical form. Each project is released as two connected objects: a fine art book and a disc, usually vinyl or CD. The work can be experienced in three ways: the book on its own, the music on its own, or both together.  

Across its editions, IIKKI has worked with photographers and musicians to create atmospheric, contemplative projects where image, sound, design, and sequencing become part of the same experience. Its catalogue includes limited-edition books, often hand-numbered, with a strong focus on material quality and the relationship between visual narrative and listening.
