Ingrid Weyland
Ingrid Weyland is an Argentine visual artist and photographer based in Buenos Aires. She first studied Graphic Design at the University of Buenos Aires before turning to photography, beginning with portraiture and later focusing on the natural world. Her practice often crosses the limits of traditional photography by adding physical gestures such as folding, crumpling, and layering prints.
Her work has been shown in exhibitions across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, and has been published internationally. Through projects like Topographies of Fragility, Weyland explores the fragile relationship between people and the environment, creating images that are both poetic and critical. Her goal is to use art as a space for reflection, where beauty and vulnerability meet. (Website, Instagram)
