Marek Bartoš

Marek Bartoš is a Prague-based Czech photographer whose work brings together a love of food, people, and visual storytelling. Best known for photographing food not only as a finished object but as part of a wider world of farms, markets, kitchens, restaurants, and everyday rituals, he moves easily between commercial work, editorial commissions, and longer-form book projects. His photography is rooted in atmosphere, texture, and human presence, which is why his images often feel as interested in process and place as in the subject itself. Alongside his photographic practice, he has long worked across food-related visual culture, building a body of work that connects still life, documentary observation, and a strong sense of lived experience.
