Michael Rababy is a Lebanese-American documentary and street photographer and filmmaker who lives in California. He grew up in Southern California. He studied art history at the University of San Diego and spent time in Paris. He likes to make pictures of people.

He has been the photography curator of the Hive Gallery in downtown Los Angeles since 2015. He was the official portrait photographer for the TLC series LA Ink. His clients include Google, Mercedes-Benz, People magazine, VICE and the Village Voice.

His book American Bachelor looks at the highs and lows of the single male. Folsom Street Food Court is an irreverent take on the annual street fair in San Francisco. He also created the book California Love: A Visual Mixtape (2020).

His latest book is Casinoland: Tired of Winning (Kehrer Verlag, 2024). It shows 30 years of casino culture in the United States. The book looks at the casino as an institution more than at single players. Rababy does not gamble. He goes to Las Vegas to watch people.
