Mike Chudley is a UK-based photographer and creative whose work focuses mainly on street photography and everyday life. He shares his photography and creative process with more than 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and also writes The Focal Point, a weekly newsletter about photography. Before his latest book, he had published a photobook and a zine, and he also teaches one-to-one street photography workshops in London.
His book Find Your Focus: A Street Photography Masterclass (Frances Lincoln, 2026) began when the publisher contacted him after seeing his YouTube videos. Across 20 chapters and 144 pages, it brings together lessons from almost ten years of making and teaching street photography, from observation and composition to light, editing and personal style. Chudley describes it as a conversation with the photographer he was at nineteen.
