University of New Mexico Press is a nonprofit university press based in Albuquerque, founded in 1929 by the Regents of the University of New Mexico. It publishes scholarly and general-interest books in fields such as fine arts, Western history, Latin American studies, literature, poetry, environmental studies, archaeology, anthropology, and natural history, with a strong emphasis on New Mexico and the Southwest.
