AKAAKA Art Publishing (P-Books) is a Japan-based independent book publisher focused on photography and visual art. Founded in 2006 by editor and art book producer Kimi Himeno, the company is known for its thoughtful and adventurous approach to photobooks, championing both Japanese and international photographers. Over the past years, AKAAKA has released more than 200 photography and art books, including works by emerging talents and established artists alike.
