APS-C

This is a reference to the size of the sensor that is utilized in certain digital cameras, which typically measures somewhere around 22.5x15mm and has an aspect ratio of 3:2. The now-defunct APS (Advanced Photo System) film format, which was utilized in its Classic (C) aspect ratio, is where it gets both its name and its dimensions.
