Auto-bracketing is a camera feature that takes a series of shots at slightly different settings, usually exposure. For example, it can take one frame at the metered exposure, one darker and one brighter. It is useful when you are not sure the meter reading is right. See bracketing.
The frames can also be combined into one HDR image. Some cameras can also bracket flash output, ISO, white balance or focus.
