C-print

A color print made on chromogenic paper, in which color dyes form during development. It is also called a chromogenic print. The name comes from Kodak's Type C paper of the 1950s.

C-prints are the standard color prints made from color negatives, both in the darkroom and from digital files printed with lasers or LEDs. See also chromogenic film and color negative film.
