Giclée

A name for high-quality inkjet prints, often used by artists and galleries. The word comes from French and means roughly "sprayed". It was introduced in the early 1990s for prints made on Iris printers.

Today giclée usually means a print made with pigment inks on archival paper. Many photographers prefer the term archival pigment print.
