About Lecturis

Lecturis (Eindhoven, The Netherlands) is a respected Dutch publishing house with a long history in quality bookmaking. It was founded in 1922 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands originally as a book publisher. From 1940 onwards it operated mainly as a printing house, building a reputation for high standards in printing and finish for artists, designers, museums and cultural institutions. 

In the early 2010s Lecturis began publishing books again, returning to its roots in editorial work with a sharp focus on visual culture. Since 2015 Lecturis has been active as a full publishing house with three distinct imprints: Lecturis, DATO and Citrus. The Lecturis imprint publishes beautifully produced books on art, design and photography, while DATO focuses on cultural history, sports and lifestyle, and Citrus publishes culinary titles.

Over the years Lecturis has become known for high-quality art and photobooks, often combining strong visual storytelling with excellent design and production values.
