Void is an independent art-house publisher of photography books based in Athens, Greece. Myrto Steirou and João Linneu founded it in 2016. It publishes debut books by emerging photographers alongside established artists. Void says it self-funds its books and pays artists fairly. It sells through its Athens store, its online store and selected bookshops, and it is distributed worldwide through Idea Books. It runs Impromptu, an occasional book-making workshop for new talent, and takes portfolio submissions. Void has also been a member of Futures Photography since 2021. Its full catalogue is held by MoMA, and its books are in over 200 public libraries. It also has a location in Reykjavik by appointment.
