Baharan Eghbalzadeh
Baharan Eghbalzadeh is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary artist, writer, and researcher from Iran. She works across new media, performance, and critical writing, often translating lived experience into installations, performances, and text-based works. Her practice looks at grief, “cyberbodies,” diasporic memory, resistance, and the politics of displacement and belonging, and she often uses archival material and digital space to ask how memory is mediated, fragmented, and rebuilt. She also teaches at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Berlin in the Art and Design faculty, with courses spanning nonfiction narratives, performativity, media theory, and academic writing, with a focus on ethics, representation, and storytelling.
