Daniel Gordon

Daniel Gordon is an American artist known for work that moves between photography, sculpture, collage, and still life. He holds a BA from Bard College and an MFA from Yale School of Art. His practice often begins with found or photographed images, which he prints, cuts, builds into three-dimensional paper forms, and photographs again, creating works that question the relationship between image, object, and reality.

Gordon’s work has been shown internationally, including solo exhibitions at Kasmin in New York, Huxley-Parlour in London, James Fuentes in New York, Bolte Lang in Zürich, and Foam Museum in Amsterdam. He has also participated in major museum group exhibitions, including New Photography at the Museum of Modern Art, Greater New York at MoMA PS1, and Cut! Paper Play in Contemporary Photography at the J. Paul Getty Museum. (Website, Instagram)
