A camera that records the whole scene around it, in every direction. Most consumer models have two fisheye lenses placed back to back. Each lens covers more than 180 degrees. Software then joins (stitches) the two images into one spherical photo or video. Some professional models use more than two lenses. The results can be viewed interactively on screens or in virtual reality headsets.
