Ethan Eisenberg

Ethan Eisenberg is a Canadian photographer based in Toronto. He has been pursuing personal documentary projects for more than thirty years, often working with long-term subjects and public life. His photography has taken him through places such as Jerusalem, Cairo, Mexico City, and Toronto, with an interest in how people move through cities shaped by history, identity, and social tension.

His book Jerusalem Delivered brings together photographs made between 1993 and 2007, during repeated visits to Jerusalem. Instead of focusing only on famous landmarks or news events, Eisenberg looks at the daily life of the city and the quiet human moments that exist inside its political and religious complexity.
