Julien Coquentin
Julien Coquentin is a French photographer and writer whose work often explores memory, childhood, and the relationship between people and landscape. After living and working abroad, including several years in Canada, he returned to his native Aveyron in southern France, where much of his recent work is rooted.
Coquentin has published several acclaimed photobooks, including Saisons noires, Oreille coupée, and L’Aval. His projects often combine images with text, creating poetic narratives that move between the personal and the collective.
