Wong Chung-Wai
Wong Chung-Wai is a photographer and filmmaker born in Hong Kong in 1984. He began his career in the film industry, working for over 15 years as a production manager, location manager, and scriptwriter. In 2020, he turned to photography to document the changing landscape of his hometown. His project “Hong Kong After Hong Kong” captures the city’s evolving identity amid political and social shifts. In 2021, Wong relocated to London, where he continues his photographic and filmmaking pursuits. His work has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, AnOther Magazine, and Newsweek Japan. In 2021, he was shortlisted for the Emerging Artist Award in the Lucie Scholarship Program. (Website, Instagram)
