Asoc.Prof. Albes FUSHA

Born in Tirana in 1968, Albes Fusha is an Albanian photographer and visual artist known for his long-term documentary work. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana in 1994 and is currently the head of the Photography Department at the University of Arts in Tirana. His photography often explores spiritual rituals, identity, and collective memory, using a minimalistic and emotionally precise approach. Over the years, he has exhibited in Albania, Austria, Poland, Greece, Italy, and the United States. His work has received several awards, including the KULT Prize for Best Photographer of the Year in Albania (2005) and two Marubi Photography Prizes (international photo contest, 1998 and 2001).
