Ansley West Rivers

Ansley West Rivers is an American photographer whose work focuses on the intersection of landscape, time, and environmental change. She is best known for her long-term project Seven Rivers, which documents major waterways across the United States using large-format film and a distinctive in-camera masking technique. Her photographs blend multiple exposures to create layered, contemplative images that explore the emotional and ecological significance of water.

West Rivers’ work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she has received recognition for her innovative approach to landscape photography.
