Benjamin Rasmussen

Benjamin Rasmussen is a photographer whose work explores identity, belonging, and the intersections of history and contemporary life. Born to an American father and a Danish mother, he grew up in the Philippines and Southeast Asia before moving to the United States. His photography has been published in outlets such as National Geographic, The New York Times Magazine, and Time, and exhibited internationally. Rasmussen’s long-term projects often combine deep research with portraiture and documentary photography, focusing on how social, political, and cultural forces shape individual lives.
