Carl Martin

Carl Martin is an American artist and designer, born in 1958. Trained at the School of Visual Arts in New York, he received a Guggenheim Fellowship for photography and has exhibited in California, New York, Florida, and Georgia. His work is held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, MOCA GA in Atlanta, and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

Martin’s practice moves between photography, design, and architecture, with a strong interest in form, space, light, and the built environment. His work has been published by Fall Line Press, including the 2018 book Carl Martin and his later architectural project Opportunities in Space. (Website)
