Catherine DeLattre
Catherine DeLattre is an American photographer born in 1949. She grew up in Monongahela, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and studied anthropology and archaeology at Kent State University before earning a master’s degree in art photography from Purdue University in 1977. Her work includes domestic interiors, New York street scenes, and rural landscapes, with a continuing interest in everyday surroundings and the traces people leave in them. DeLattre has taught at the International Center of Photography, Vassar College, and the State University of New York at New Paltz. (Website, Instagram)
