Daesung Lee is a photographer based in Paris and Seoul. His projects include Nirvana, The Red Forest, Futuristic Archaeology, On the Shore of a Vanishing Island, and Jharia, the Land of Coal Fire. His work has been exhibited internationally at photography festivals, galleries, and cultural institutions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He received first place in the LensCulture Portrait Awards in 2025 and has also been recognized by the Sony World Photography Awards, Prix Voies-Off, Cortona International Photo Festival, and Bourse du Talent.
