Emily Shur

Emily Shur is a Los Angeles based photographer who works across fine art, editorial, and advertising, often known for bold portrait work and playful, conceptual commissions. She was born in New York City, grew up in Houston, and studied photography at NYU Tisch, where she graduated with honors and received an Artist Award for Creative Excellence.

Early in her career she won ADC Young Guns, and her images have appeared in outlets and annuals such as American Photography. She has also published books including Super Extra Natural (2017) and later Sunshine Terrace (Website, Instagram)
