Emin Özmen

Emin Özmen is a documentary photographer and member of Magnum Photos. His work focuses on memory, identity, social change, and the lives of people affected by political and historical events. He studied photography at Marmara University in Istanbul and documentary photography at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria. His photographs have appeared in TIME, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Der Spiegel, and Le Monde. Özmen has received two World Press Photo awards and the Public Jury Photo Prize at the Bayeux Calvados Awards for War Correspondents. His first photobook, Olay, was published by MACK in 2023.
