Gregor Sailer

Gregor Sailer is an Austrian photographer known for long-term projects that examine hidden infrastructures, architecture, and systems of control. His work often focuses on places that are normally inaccessible, including restricted zones, industrial sites, and scientific facilities.

He works primarily with analogue large-format cameras and is known for a precise, controlled visual language. His photographs have been exhibited internationally and are held in major public and private collections, including the Albertina in Vienna, the Belvedere Museum, and the Centre National des Arts Plastiques in Paris.

Cockaigne is his fifth book published with Kehrer Verlag, following projects such as Closed Cities, The Potemkin Village, and The Polar Silk Road. (Website, Instagram)
