Kate Sterlin
Kate Sterlin is a Los Angeles-based photographer and writer whose work delves into themes of love, memory, and human connection. Her photography has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Vogue. Mentored by the renowned documentarian Mary Ellen Mark, Sterlin has developed a distinctive style that blends street photography with intimate portraiture, capturing personal narratives and hidden stories. Her debut book, Still Life: Photographs & Love Stories, released in 2024 by Anthology Editions, combines her evocative images with poetic writings to explore the nuances of family, loss, and identity. In addition to her photographic work, Sterlin has directed the film Sometimes, which has been showcased at international film festivals.
