Mark Maio

Mark Maio is a fine art photographer, consultant, educator, and internationally recognized expert in ophthalmic imaging. Through his company InVision Inc., he divides his time between personal fine art photography and imaging consulting in the field of ophthalmology. After 25 years in clinical medical and ophthalmic photography, he developed the first high-resolution digital imaging system in ophthalmology in 1999. His fine art photography has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the United States and is held in public and private collections, including a 12-print portfolio from Against The Grain in the permanent collection of the George Eastman Museum. Maio also teaches through his Vision & Voice photographic coaching and consulting program and leads workshops in the United States and on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. (Website, Facebook, LinkedIn)
