Marnie Salsky

Marnie Salsky is a Toronto-based photographer and documentary media artist whose work explores contemporary Jewish identity, collective memory, and belonging. Using a conceptual documentary approach, she combines photography, archival materials, interviews, and digital fragments to create layered narratives across print, installation, and film.

She holds an MFA in Documentary Media from Toronto Metropolitan University. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and presented at the Toronto Jewish Film Festival, and she has received awards for both photography and film. Alongside her artistic practice, Salsky has worked with charitable and not-for-profit organizations on community-focused visual storytelling and has led photography workshops and educational programs.
