Pamela Thomas-Graham

Pamela Thomas-Graham discovered photography at age 50, two years after her husband's unexpected death. Before picking up a camera for the first time, she had built a distinguished career across multiple fields.

She holds undergraduate, law, and business degrees from Harvard University and worked as a partner at McKinsey & Company. As an entrepreneur, she founded and served as CEO of Blend Images and later CNBC.com. She has also written three mystery novels and founded the lifestyle blog Dandelion Chandelier.

Her connection to the art world runs deep. She serves on the Photography Committee of the Whitney Museum of American Art and is an active art collector. Despite this background, photography remained unexplored territory until grief led her to enroll in her first class at the International Center for Photography.

Today, she studies at both ICP and Parsons The New School for Design. Her work has been featured in exhibitions, and she shares her twilight photography on Instagram @newyorktwilight. "When Words Fail" marks her transition from art patron to practicing artist. (Website, Instagram)
