Sakaguchi Tomoyuki
Sakaguchi Tomoyuki is a Tokyo-based Japanese photographer born in 1969. He has exhibited widely in Japan and abroad and won the Society of Photography Award in 2008. Sakaguchi is known for long-term projects that explore suburban landscapes, night scenes, and the way people appear in structured city spaces. He has also taught digital photography at Musashino Art University and the Nippon Institute of Photography. His earlier work includes HOME and MADO, and his newest book, GOING HOME, continues his study of place, light, and human presence at night. (Website, Instagram)
