Steve Giovinco

Steve Giovinco is a New York-based fine art photographer renowned for his evocative long-exposure night landscapes that document environmental transformations. With an MFA from Yale University, his work has been showcased in over ninety international exhibitions, including venues such as the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, Museum of Contemporary Art Georgia, and the Contemporary Art Center in Cincinnati. His photographs are part of esteemed collections at institutions like the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, and the California Museum of Photography. Giovinco has been awarded multiple artist residencies at Yaddo, received grants from the American-Scandinavian Foundation to document climate change in Greenland, and was a Fulbright Fellow alternate. His artistic inspiration draws from the Hudson River School painters, photographers Eugène Atget and Brassaï, and the films of Michelangelo Antonioni.
