Will Vogt
Will Vogt is an American photographer whose work documents the lives of his friends, family, and social circle over several decades. Focusing on recurring traditions, gatherings, and everyday moments, his images offer a rare look inside the private world of the American upper class. Rather than treating wealth as the subject, Vogt uses it as a backdrop to explore patterns of behavior, continuity, and inherited ways of life.
His long-term project, A Sporting Life, brings together photographs made across years of shared experience, often in places that remain inaccessible to most. His work has been published in Wallpaper, Interview, AnOther, Collector Daily, and New York Magazine, and exhibited in venues across the United States. His first monograph, These Americans (2023), was followed by Behind the Hedges, continuing his exploration of tradition, proximity, and social ritual. (Website, Instagram)
