Xavo Buendia

Xavier (Xavo) Buendia is a photographer and creative director. He was born in Mexico City and now lives in Brighton, UK. His work combines portraiture, still life, documentary and art photography, with a focus on people, culture, food, architecture and daily life. He has worked with clients such as Thames & Hudson, Penguin Random House, Hilton and The Observer.

His work has been shown at Photo Oxford Festival, Photo España and Brighton Photo Fringe, and he was a finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year in 2015 and 2017.
