Kinga Owczennikow
Kinga Owczennikow is a visual artist working with photography. She was born in Poland and lived across the globe, having relocated to New York City in 2024. She received her BA (Hons) in Photography from University for the Creative Arts, and her Associate Distinction from the Royal Photographic Society.
Kinga had a solo exhibition "The secret paths of Hong Kong" at the Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw, in 2011. Her projects have been included in numerous magazines and online publications such as BBC Travel, The Eye of Photography, All About Photo, Noice Magazine, ARTDOC Photography Magazine, HK Magazine, F-Stop Magazine, Photo Vogue, and Quarterly Journal of Photography Issue 44. Her photographic work has also been exhibited in group shows in the UK, Hungary, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece and the United States.
Kinga's work navigates the space between documentary observation and conceptual inquiry, utilizing common visual languages derived from her expansive international experiences. Kinga's first photobook "Framing the World" was published by Ephemere, an independent publisher in Tokyo, in 2025. (Website, Instagram)
