About Martin Parr Foundation

The Martin Parr Foundation, established in 2014 and based in Bristol, is dedicated to celebrating and preserving photography that explores life in Britain and Ireland. Alongside Martin Parr’s own extensive archive, the foundation houses a growing collection of prints, book dummies, and publications by both renowned and overlooked photographers, including figures such as David Hurn and Chris Killip. Its mission is to support and showcase emerging, established, and under-recognized talent while making photography accessible to a wide public through exhibitions, talks, screenings, and open archive sessions.

Opened to the public in 2017, the foundation has become a vibrant cultural hub, offering a gallery, library, and archive facilities at its Bristol site.
