Nori U
Born in Japan and raised in the US, Nori is the outgrowth of a bicultural upbringing that still feels out of place in both worlds. He has stopped counting the number of times people on either side of the ocean have asked where he’s really from. Based in California since 2012, Nori specializes in concert and street photography, capturing fleeting moments of fellow nomads passing through. Shooting musicians also helps Nori cope with his bygone dreams of becoming a rock star and melting faces. Nori admits to committing photography’s most heinous sin: shooting in jpeg.
