About teNeues Verlag
Founded in 1931 by Dr. Heinz teNeues in Krefeld, Germany, teNeues Verlag has grown from a family-run print shop into a distinguished publisher of high-quality books. After World War II, the company was rebuilt in Kempen, Lower Rhine, and later expanded its offerings to include art prints, calendars, and greeting cards.
In 1977, teNeues Verlag became an independent publishing house, further expanding internationally under Hendrik teNeues, who established the New York office in 1983. The company broadened its portfolio to include illustrated books, museum merchandise, and corporate publishing for prestigious brands like BMW and Porsche.
Today, headquartered in Düsseldorf with offices in Munich and New York, teNeues collaborates with renowned photographers such as Elliott Erwitt or Phil Penman. Their multilingual books are available in over 50 countries. Since October 2020, teNeues has been part of the Weltbild D2C-Group, under the Droege Group, ensuring sustainable growth while maintaining its legacy of excellence.
